Assumptions of the Approach

There are a number of assumptions that serve as the foundation of the Solution Focused Model. These are;

If it is not broken, don't fix it.

Look for exceptions.

Ask questions rather than telling clients what to do.

The future is negotiated and created
.

Change is constant and inevitable.

The solution is not always directly related to the problem.
